Christie Longster is the principal and founder of Style Theory, a style and design consulting agency based in North Vancouver. Christie was born and raised in Vancouver and had a successful career in the investment and finance industry before taking some time to raise a family. Christie has always had a passion and an eye for fashion, style and design. These talents were often sought out by friends and acquaintances for ideas, home renovations, decorating and fashion advice. Her passion was truly ignited when she oversaw the building of a lakeside cottage and managed a major home renovation. Following these projects, she decided to formally help others with their style and design needs, thus Style Theory was born.
Style Theory takes a consultative and collaborative approach with clients to understand their unique style preferences to bring their vision to life. Working from concept to completion and anywhere in between. Style Theory manages all budgets and has a unique ability to source and procure items and materials in a cost effective manner. Style Theory has a particular affinity for clean, fresh, understated and modern but timeless styles and designs.
